Get Your Life! Productions is a collaborative, youth-centered video production company consisting of student artists aged 10-21 from 901 Arts and MICA. For these four weeks, GYL! will take over Gallery CA, turning the space into a production studio to create a new video. This residence is a piece of a yearlong project surrounding utopia, the future and world-making. The gallery will change constantly throughout the course of the exhibition, serving as the casting office, the workshop, the dressing room, the soundstage, and finally the exhibit of sets, props, costumes and other artifacts resulting from the filming of the video.
